This was a very special year for The Weatherly Institute for Robotics and Engineering. We moved into our new facility where we were able to have dedicated LAB space so that our build would be undisturbed. We were able to prototype our robot so that SOME of the bugs could be worked out before the real build. Our students asked for a different look and feel to the BOT, which shows a sign that they are gaining confidence.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing that occurred in my opinion was that one of our own, came back to guide and mentor the team. Thomas Russell a graduate of our program last June and who is now a student at Penn State in their Engineering Program gave his time and energy to our "kids".
